Asian 25mm Cobalt Blue Tubing is a heavily saturated transparent cobalt blue borosilicate color tubing made in China. It is produced as straight, consistent tubing for flameworking and scientific glassblowing when you need a strong, clean blue that stays transparent while still reading as a deep color. The heavy saturation makes it a go-to for bold color sections, high-contrast striping, and builds where you want the blue to hold its presence even when the wall gets thicker.
This tubing is typically cut to length, sealed, and worked like standard color tubing for blowouts, sleeves, and shaped components. The 25mm diameter is ideal when you are building larger forms or adding substantial color sections because it gives you enough mass to move glass efficiently without having to stack multiple smaller tubes. Cobalt is also commonly used for crisp visual separation between clear and color, and for components where you want a deep blue tone that remains luminous rather than turning opaque.
