With a sturdy brass casing and 19 fuel ports constructed of stainless steel, this newest surface mix Carlisle Bench Burner boasts incredibly efficient combustion and powerful flame. Uses Propane, Natural Gas or Hydrogen with Oxygen. Can work Borosilicate or Soft glass. The Vortex cooling system is built into the brass casing with 12 ports cut into the front. This prevents overheating of the torch. Oxygen from the burner is used to pull air through the casing, causing the release of the burner heat which builds in the casing. As oxygen flow increases, cooling feature efficiency is amplified. Similar to Carlisle's Mini CC, the WildCat - named after WWII fighter plane- features a ball joint for articulation of the burner head and remotely placed metering valves for added control and managability. Compatible with the Crowley Marver.

[WILDCAT]Item Description:
The WildCat Bench Burner is a totally surface mixed burner that offers a powerful flame that remains gentle enough to use with colored glass and dichroic glass. The wider flame produced by the WildCat allows for solid borosilicate work up to 1 1/2” thick and solid soft glass work up to 2” thick. Named after the rugged World War II fighter plane of the same name, the WildCat features a solid brass body construction with a stainless steel tube matrix. The tube matrix features 19 fuel ports surrounded by ample oxygen porting. The stand itself is designed for ease of use and places the burner head at a 45° angle. The connection of the body to the stand is made with a ball joint, allowing for an increased or decreased tilt of 15° to articulate the head in virtually any direction or rotation. This allows the burner to have excellent positioning capabilities. The base also has four rubber feet to reduce the likelihood of the unit from sliding during use and features two mounting holes for permanent installations. An innovative feature of this burner is the “Vortex” Venturi system, built into the brass casing. With 12 ports cut into the front of the nose cone, this highly effective system uses oxygen from the burner to pull air through the nose cone, causing the burner to use less gas and oxygen. As the operator pushes the flame to higher levels, the Vortex system also amplifies its effectiveness as the oxygen flow increases. The amount of fuel use decreases. Fuel gas and oxygen consumption for the WildCat is extremely economical, with a standard usage of approximately 3 LPM (Liters Per Minute) of propane and only 15 LPM of oxygen. This burner may be used with oxygen and either natural gas, propane, or even hydrogen. The recommended operating pressures are 2 PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) for fuel gas and 5 PSI for oxygen. Wildcat Generates approximately 6477 BTU’sHow It’s Sold:
