Description:
The Celtic Knot Blasting Stencils are single-use vinyl stencils designed for sandblasting and surface etching work on glass. Each stencil sheet uses a water based adhesive that holds the stencil in place during blasting while still allowing clean removal by soaking in water until the vinyl releases. The stencil set includes an instructional sheet to guide placement and use. The Celtic Knot 04 design sheet contains multiple Celtic knot images in a range of sizes, making it useful for repeating motifs across a series of pieces or scaling the same pattern to fit different forms.
How it is used:
Clean and dry the glass surface, then apply the vinyl stencil to the area you want to mask. Burnish the stencil down firmly so the edges seal well, then sandblast the exposed areas to create a frosted or carved design. After blasting, soak the piece in water until the stencil begins to release, then peel it away and rinse the surface clean. This stencil is commonly used for decorating cups, ornaments, panels, and other glass surfaces where crisp, repeatable knotwork patterns are desired.
