The Major Mega Minor Top-Fire has, in addition to the larger surface mix "Major" portion, an additional smaller "Mega Minor" burner mounted on top of the Major. Major torches are surface mix burners, but you have the choice between a premix, surface mix, or Mega Minor burner for the upper Minor assembly. The Nortel Mega Minor Bench Burner gets hotter than the Minor, with a larger, wider flame for the same oxygen pressure. This torch has great versatility: able to work soft glass, borosilicate glass, and is able to dial the flame down for detail and stringer work.
