Description:

ABR Easier Bead Release is ABR’s newest bead release formula, supplied as a non-toxic bead release in a 16 oz container. It is formulated for sculptural work in borosilicate glass and is also designed to work well with soft glass. The formula is designed to allow for simpler release of beads after the bead has cooled, helping the bead separate from the mandrel more easily.

How it is used:

Bead release is applied to bead mandrels to create a protective, sacrificial coating between the steel mandrel and the molten glass. Coat the mandrel with the bead release and allow it to dry before winding glass. This formula can be flame dried or air dried. After the bead is made and cooled, the release is intended to help the bead come off the mandrel more easily.
