Shipping policy

We will do our best to ship your order via UPS as quickly as possible. Please understand that we are a small family business, unlike Amazon, and may not always be able to ship the same day. We take pride in our work and strive to process your orders as efficiently as we can. If you have any urgent needs, please let us know, and we will do our best to assist you.

Please note that USPS tends to lose packages, and we are not integrated with their system. In most cases, they will not pay claims for lost or stolen items, and their claim process is something we cannot dedicate time to. Our focus is on getting orders out the door, well-packaged, so they arrive safely. Consequently, ABR Imagery cannot be held responsible for any packages that go missing after shipment. If you would like your package shipped via USPS, you will need to contact us to confirm that you accept this liability.

When ordering CBS dichroic sheets please be aware that shipping sheets whole will require a specialized box. Those specialized boxes cost $25 in addition the cost to ship the box. We strongly recommend having your sheets cut into quarters to save on shipping. If you do need to ship the sheet in tact we will have to contact you to recalculate your shipping based on the updated size of the box(es) required to ship your order.

Shipping cost is calculated by the consideration of the dimensional weight where the higher the volume of the box is the more it costs to ship. Consider if you had to ship a single 5 foot 2mm Simax clear rod, while the rod itself would be extremely light the space that the box would occupy in the shipper's trucks would dimensionally large.

Reducing your shipping cost by having your glass cut into more manageable sizes is a service we extend free of charge on small quantities of glass. We cannot cut glass rod over 19mm and glass tubing over 32mm and we cannot cut large quantities of glass because it is unsafe to cut larger sizes of rod and tubing. When cutting large quantities of glass we will have to charge for the labor which will be more than the difference in cost of shipping the glass full length.
