Devardi Lime Flowers Milli is a patterned 104 COE glass milli rod that is manufactured with a lime flower design running through the cane. It is supplied as a rod so you can slice off individual milli pieces as needed, giving you repeatable floral pattern elements without having to build the design by hand in the flame. This style of milli is used in lampworking for fast, consistent decoration on beads, pendants, marbles, and small sculptural work when you want clean, recognizable pattern that can be melted in and optionally encased for a smooth, durable finish.

How it is used:

Warm the milli rod gradually in the back of the flame or in a kiln to reduce thermal shock, then cut or nip off a small slice and preheat it until it is safe to introduce to the working heat. Tack the milli onto a hot spot on your bead or component, then melt it in under a neutral flame while controlling how much the design spreads. For best clarity and wear resistance, the milli can be gently pressed into place and then covered with a layer of compatible clear glass before final shaping and annealing.
