Devardi Frit - Semi-Opaque Light Green is a soft glass frit intended for 104 COE lampworking and beadmaking. It is made from crushed glass that has been screened into small, usable particles so it melts in smoothly and gives consistent color coverage. The light green color is well-suited for bright accents, spring green bases, and layered color effects when you want a clean, readable green without needing to pull stringer or apply larger chunks of glass.
Frit is used when you want fast, even color application or a speckled surface effect. Heat the bead or gather until the surface is tacky, then roll or dip it into the frit, or sprinkle frit onto the hot glass. Melt the frit in gently to avoid trapping air, then continue shaping. This is commonly used for base coats, color transitions, and adding surface texture before encasing or final shaping. Compatibility and annealing should follow standard 104 COE soft glass practice when used with other 104 COE colors.
