Devardi Frit - Transparent Medium Light Green is a transparent soft glass frit intended for 104 COE lampworking and beadmaking. The frit is made from crushed transparent medium light green glass that has been screened into small, uniform particles so it melts in smoothly and gives consistent color coverage. The medium light green color is well-suited for bright accents, spring-inspired green bases, and layered color effects when you want a clean, readable green without needing to pull stringer or apply larger chunks of glass rod.
How it is used:
Frit is used when you want fast, even color application or a speckled surface effect. Heat the bead or gather until the surface is tacky, then roll or dip it into the frit, or sprinkle frit onto the hot glass. Melt the frit in gently to avoid trapping air, then continue shaping. This is commonly used for base coats, color transitions, and adding surface texture before encasing or final shaping.
