Description:

Moretti Light Topaz frit is a transparent soft glass frit made by crushing and sizing compatible Effetre glass into a medium-grade particle. This color is a Light Topaz that is slightly darker than Very Pale Topaz, giving you a warm, transparent amber tone that stays clean when used for layering. It is used in lampworking when you want quick, even color application without pulling stringer, and it is especially useful for adding transparent depth before encasing.

How it is used:

• Roll a warm bead through frit in a frit tray, then melt in smoothly for an even transparent color layer.
• Use as a light-to-medium application for subtle shading, or build heavier coverage for richer topaz depth.
• Apply in bands or spot placements to create transparent patterning before final shaping.
• Encasing over a melted-in frit layer can add depth and a “glow” effect while keeping the surface smooth.
