Description:

This is a pulled stringer made from Effetre Moretti 104 COE glass in a medium lemon yellow color. It is manufactured by drawing molten glass into thin, consistent strands so it can be used as a precise application tool for linework and small, controlled additions of color. Lemon yellow stringer is used in lampworking when you want clean outlines, fine striping, scrollwork, dots, and detailed surface decoration without adding the bulk of a full-size rod.

How it is used:

• Warm the stringer gradually in the back of the flame to prevent shocking, then bring the tip to a working heat.
• Use the molten tip like a pen to draw lines, trails, and borders on a bead or small sculpture.
• Apply dots and small accents, then melt in fully for smooth decoration or leave slightly raised for texture.
• Combine with clear or other colors for layered detail work, and keep heat even to maintain consistent line thickness.
