Asian 12mm Purple Tubing

Asian 12mm Purple Tubing is lightly saturated transparent lavender purple borosilicate color tubing made in China. It is supplied as hollow tubing, which makes it a strong choice when you want colored glass that can be sleeved, blown out, or shaped into forms where an interior air path or bore is part of the design. This tubing comes in 4 ft lengths and is sold by the piece.
This tubing is used in lampworking to create and modify hollow forms and components. It can be heated and shaped for blown sections, small vessels, and other hollow builds, or used for sleeving over compatible clear or colored tubing to add a transparent lavender purple layer. It is also useful for making sections that will later be pulled down into points or reduced into smaller diameter tubing for detail work, while keeping the color consistent through the wall.
