Asian 16mm Green Tubing is heavily saturated transparent green glass tubing made in China. The strong saturation gives you a vivid transparent green that holds its color well as you stretch, flare, or condense sections, making it a solid choice when you want a clean green body color in hollow work. Supplied as straight tubing, it is intended for lampworkers and glassblowers who prefer starting from tube stock for forming consistent hollow shapes and components.
This tubing is used as starting stock for hollow lampworking and small blown work where transparent green is the primary body color. It is typically warmed in gradually, rotated for even heat, then worked to close ends, pull points, open and flare lips, or neck down sections for transitions and functional or decorative components. Tubing like this is also commonly chosen for repeatable production work because it begins with a consistent diameter and length, helping you keep forms uniform from piece to piece.
