Asian 16mm Opaque Purple Tubing is opaque purple glass tubing made in China. It is manufactured as straight tubing in long stock lengths so it can be cut down, prepped, and incorporated into your builds at the torch. Opaque purple is used when you want a solid, non-transparent color that holds its presence in thicker wall sections and gives a strong, clean read in finished work.
How it is used:
This tubing is used as colored stock for flameworking and general glass fabrication. Cut to the length you need, square the ends, and fire-polish before assembling. It is commonly used for sleeves, sections, blowouts, and color-backed components where you want an even opaque purple body color without relying on surface color applications.
