Asian 19mm Light Cobalt Blue Tubing is a heavily saturated transparent cobalt blue borosilicate color tubing made in China and supplied as pre-formed tubing so you can start directly from a hollow blank instead of sleeving or drilling solid. The color is built into the tubing wall for consistent saturation as you stretch, flare, or collapse sections, making it a strong choice when you want a clean transparent blue that still reads as bold color in thicker areas. It is sold by the piece and comes in 4 ft. lengths.
How it is used:
This tubing is used as a hollow starting stock for lampworking and scientific-style fabrication in borosilicate. It is commonly used for building colored sections in vessels and components, pulling down for points and seals, forming blowouts, and creating sleeves or tube-based assemblies where you want the color to stay even as the wall is worked.
