Asian 19mm Pink Tubing is a transparent colored borosilicate glass tube made for flame working where you want clean color with the efficiency of hollow stock. This tubing is manufactured as a consistent round tube with even wall and a smooth surface so it heats predictably, seals cleanly, and stays stable when you are stretching, blowing, or welding in sections. Transparent pink is commonly chosen when you want a bright, readable color that still transmits light, making it ideal for layered color work, encasement, and pieces where you want depth instead of a flat opaque look.
This tubing is used by cutting to length, warming evenly to remove chill marks, then working it like any borosilicate tube for forming and assembly. It is commonly used for blowouts and small vessels, for pulling down into smaller tubing, for making colored sections that get welded between clear or other colors, and for building components like mouthpieces, collars, and transitions where you want color without adding unnecessary mass. It is also a strong choice for color sleeving over clear or for stacking with other transparent colors to create richer tones while keeping the piece luminous.
