Asian 25mm Opaque Green Tubing is a Chinese-made borosilicate color tubing produced in an opaque green formulation for strong coverage and clean, graphic color. Being tubing, it is manufactured with a consistent hollow core so it can be heated and worked into blown sections, sleeved components, and color overlays without needing to core-drill solid rod. The opaque green reads solid under studio lighting and is especially useful when you want a bold color field that does not wash out when backed by clear.
This tubing is supplied in long straight lengths intended for bench torch work, lathe work, and larger lampworked assemblies where you want the speed and symmetry that tubing provides. It is sold by the piece.
Opaque color tubing like this is typically used when you need fast, even wall distribution and a centered bore. Common professional use cases include:
- Sleeving over clear tubing to create an opaque outer skin before shaping, blowing, or pulling down to smaller sizes.
