Asian 25mm Opaque Pink Tubing is colored borosilicate glass tubing manufactured in an opaque pink formulation. It is made as a hollow tube with consistent outside diameter and a uniform wall, intended to be worked in the flame and joined to other borosilicate components. Opaque colors are commonly chosen when you want solid, non-transparent coverage, strong visual contrast, and clean graphic linework in finished pieces.
This tubing is typically used in borosilicate lampworking for building hollow forms and components where a tube shape is the most efficient starting point. Common uses include pulling down to smaller tubing, making blowouts for shaping sections of a piece, creating collars and sleeves for reinforced connections, and forming sections that will be later joined to clear or other colors. Opaque pink is often used for bold color blocks, decorative bands, and high-contrast pattern work, and it pairs well with clear encasement when you want the form to stay visually crisp while protecting the surface from abrasion during handling.
