Asian 25mm Pink Tubing is lightly saturated transparent pink borosilicate glass tubing made in China and supplied in 4 ft lengths. It is manufactured as hollow tubing with a consistent outside diameter, intended for flameworking where you want a transparent pink that still reads clearly over clear borosilicate. Transparent color tubing is commonly chosen when you want depth and light transmission, especially for pieces that benefit from a clean, luminous look rather than a solid opaque block of color.
This tubing is used as a starting form for hollow borosilicate work, especially when you want to build volume efficiently without starting from solid rod. It is commonly used for pulling down to smaller diameter tubing, making blowouts for shaping sections, forming sleeves and collars for reinforced connections, and creating colored sections that can be joined to clear or other colors. A transparent pink like this is especially useful when you want layered color effects, clean encasement work, or subtle shading that still allows the interior form and wall thickness to visually read during shaping.
