Asian 38mm Blue-Green Tubing is a transparent blue-green color borosilicate tubing made in China. It is produced as straight, even-wall color tubing intended for flameworking and lampworking when you want a clean, watery blue-green tone built directly into the wall of a larger hollow form. This tubing comes in 4 ft. lengths and is sold by the piece.
In lampworking, 38mm color tubing is chosen for larger hollow work where you want fast coverage and consistent color without having to build the entire body from rod. Transparent blue-green is especially useful when you want depth and glow in the finished piece, since it carries light through the wall and reads richer when backed by clear or layered over other transparents. This size is commonly used for sleeves, overlays, and major body sections in larger assemblies where uniform color and clean transitions matter.
