Asian 38mm Neon Green Tubing is borosilicate color tubing made in China and supplied as straight tubing intended for flameworking and scientific-style fabrication. It comes in 4 ft. lengths and is sold by the piece, giving you enough material for larger hollow builds where you want consistent color coverage across a wide diameter. Neon green is typically chosen when you want a bright, high-visibility green that reads strong in the flame and stays bold on larger forms, especially when used as a sleeve over clear or as the outer color layer in a build.
This tubing is used as starting stock for larger hollow work in borosilicate, including sleeving over clear tubing for even color, building blown sections, and cutting down into shorter blanks for assemblies. In practice, 38mm is a comfortable size for artists working larger hand-held pieces as well as for lathe work, because it gives you the diameter to shape volume first and then pull down or neck down to your final connections while keeping the color uniform.
