Asian 50mm Opaque Black Tubing is an opaque black borosilicate color tube made in China. It is produced as factory-drawn tubing for consistent outside diameter and a uniform, non-transparent black that reads solid under studio lighting. It comes in 4 ft. lengths and is sold by the piece.
This is a large-diameter color tube intended for hollow lampworking where you want a bold, graphic black without any light transmission. Use it for big-body builds like large vessels, straight tubes, and sections that will be sleeved, welded, or joined into multi-part assemblies. Opaque black is especially useful when you need strong visual contrast against clear or bright transparents, and when you want clean silhouettes, crisp linework, and a “finished” look without relying on backing color.
