Asian 50mm Green Tubing is a heavily saturated transparent green borosilicate color tube made in China. It is produced as straight tubing intended for flameworking and scientific-style fabrication where you want consistent color coverage across a large diameter, without having to sleeve clear and color together. This tubing comes in 4 ft lengths and is sold by the piece.
This is large-diameter color tubing used as the starting stock for bigger hollow work. In a lampworking shop you would commonly use it for large sections that need strong, even color such as bodies, sleeves, housings, and other wide hollow builds where you want the color to read cleanly and uniformly. Because it is transparent and heavily saturated, it is especially useful when you want depth and glow in the finished piece rather than an opaque, flat block of color.
