Asian 9mm Light Cobalt Blue Tubing is a heavily saturated transparent cobalt blue borosilicate color tubing made in China. It is produced as straight, consistent tubing intended for lampworking where you want strong transparent color already in a hollow format, rather than building up color from rod or sleeving. This is a practical production color for clean lines, even transparency, and repeatable results in both artistic and scientific-style fabrication.
This tubing is used for hollow builds where you want cobalt blue transparency with minimal effort, such as sections of vessels, tubing-based components, color accents in assemblies, and any work where a saturated transparent blue reads clearly over thickness changes. In lampworking it is especially useful for building hollow forms quickly, making consistent color sections for multi-part assemblies, and keeping your heat work cleaner by avoiding extra seams from sleeving. It is sold by the piece, making it easy to match your build plan without committing to a full case.
