Matrix Brand's Morpheus Aqua Glow Small Frit is a brand new brand of glow powder that holds in light and shines bright blue.
Usage Instructions:
- Always warm frit in kiln at 1050F for at least 20 minutes.
- For best results use a high oxygen bushy flame. The goal here is to avoid the bright white heat state.
- Less is more when it comes to application. For best results sprinkle frit evenly throughout. You want spacing between; think of polka dots.
- For example, using a 5.5" long tube that is 28mm outer diameter with 4mm wall thickness; approximately 4 grams of frit is the recommended ratio.
- Avoid working frit for long periods outside of the flame. Once cooled outside of the flame soak in kiln before resuming work.
- Soak in kiln for at least 20 minutes between steps. Slow and steady.
- Ensure frit is thoroughly melted.
- For hollow work generally 2 or more extra steps of blowing and condensing are required to achieve a full melt. Repeat as necessary until frit is fully blended. In a clear vessel frit will look similar to an implosion marble when thoroughly melted.
- Not recommended for heavy encasement.
