How it is used:
- Preheat the tubing gradually in the outer flame to avoid thermal shock, bringing it slowly to working temperature.
- Use the hollow interior for building scientific glassware, reaction vessels, or decorative hollow beads and components.
- Expand the tubing by carefully applying heat and using air pressure or a blow tube to create larger diameter forms.
- Score and separate sections cleanly by heating a line and applying cold water for controlled breaks.
- Weld tubing to rods or other tubing to construct complex scientific apparatus or multi-component artistic pieces.
