Northstar's Borosilicate RUBY RED Rod is a medium intensity striking ruby good for most blown work. This color can be worked relatively thin without washing out. Best when worked in a moderately oxidizing flame (to prevent muddying). Northstar recommends RUBY to be Kiln-struck. This is First Quality Glass Rod approx. 7mm in Diameter with a 20"Length. All colors shown after being flameworked. This item is available by the pound (LB), 1/2 lb., or the Piece (PC).
