Description:
The Covington Deluxe Commercial Wet Belt Sander is designed for high production work, built to sand, grind, and polish large or heavy pieces. The deluxe sander is equipped with a 1/2hp motor and includes a 13 inch high back plate, a 4 inch high back plate, a belt guard, instructions, and a product guarantee. A water valve is included for wet operation and accepts either 1/4 inch OD plastic tubing for gravity water flow or 1/4 inch copper tubing for pressure systems.

In glass coldworking, this wet belt sander is used when you need fast, controlled stock removal and surface refinement while keeping the glass cool and suppressing dust with water. The 13 inch high back plate makes it possible to wet sand flat surfaces vertically, giving you solid support for truing and flattening larger work, cleaning up saw marks, and preparing surfaces for finer finishing steps.
