BENCHROLLER-E

Description:

The Economy Yoke Style Benchroller is a bench-mounted support tool built with a heavy metal base and a yoke-style frame that holds a pair of rollers. The rollers are vertically adjustable to set your working height, and they can be adjusted wider apart to accommodate different diameters of tubing, blowpipes, punty rods, and larger assemblies. In lampworking and scientific glass work, a benchroller is used to support longer or heavier pieces so you can rotate the work smoothly and consistently while heating, joining, straightening, or shaping.

How it is used:

Set the benchroller on a stable work surface near your torch. Adjust the roller height so the work sits level with your working position and adjust the roller spacing so the piece rides securely without binding. Use the rollers to support and rotate long tubing, assembled sections, or heavier components while you heat and work the glass, which helps reduce hand fatigue and improves straightness and alignment during seals, pulls, and shaping.
