NS-144 Grizzly is an opaque brown. This glass holds a dense earthen brown which works well in sculptural and blown applications. As a cadmium based color, the working characteristics will be similar to NS-65 Cherry or NS-64 Lava. Grizzly is heat sensitive so it must be worked carefully to prevent boiling. Encasing with clear is another method to shielding the color, but not necessary.
