Puzzle Piece #2 Blasting Stencils are single-use vinyl stencils designed for sandblasting decorative patterns onto glass surfaces. Each sheet measures 8.5 inches by 12 inches and features a sharp-edged puzzle piece pattern with multiple image sizes. The stencils are constructed from water-based adhesive vinyl that adheres securely to glass during blasting but removes easily by soaking in water. The sheet includes a bottom and top margin of approximately 5/8 inch to protect the edges of your work. Each stencil sheet comes with instructional guidance to help you achieve clean, precise blasting results. The pattern includes larger puzzle piece images at the top of approximately 0.75 to 1 inch in height and width, with proportionally sized medium, small, and very small images below for versatile design options.
How it is used:
- Clean the glass surface thoroughly and dry completely before application
- Peel the stencil backing and apply the vinyl firmly to the glass, smoothing out any air bubbles
- Position the glass in your sandblasting cabinet with the stencil facing the blast nozzle
- Blast using appropriate pressure and abrasive media to etch the puzzle piece pattern through the vinyl
- After blasting, soak the stencil in water to soften the adhesive and gently peel away the vinyl
- Rinse the glass thoroughly and allow it to dry to reveal the finished etched design
