Description:
The RX Prescription Blasting Stencils are single-use vinyl sandblasting stencils made for creating sharp-edged Rx symbol markings on glass. Each stencil sheet uses a water based adhesive so it stays put during blasting, then releases cleanly with a soak in water for easy removal. The sheet includes multiple sizes of the Rx symbol so you can match the scale to small scientific components, lab-themed décor, awards, ornaments, or production marking work where consistent, repeatable imagery matters. The stencils come with an instructional sheet, and there is a three sheet minimum purchase requirement.
How it is used:
- Clean and dry the glass surface so the stencil adhesive bonds evenly
- Apply the stencil to the glass and burnish firmly to seal edges for crisp lines
- Mask off surrounding areas as needed to protect the rest of the surface from overspray
- Sandblast to the depth and frost level you want, then stop and inspect before going deeper
- Remove the stencil by soaking in water until it releases, then rinse and dry the piece
