Moretti Black Transparent is an Effetre soft glass color pulled into solid rod stock for 104 COE lampworking. This transparent black is built for depth rather than opacity, giving you a smoky, see-through black that can read as charcoal in thin applications and deepen toward black as it is layered. In rod form it is easy to heat, gather, and pull into stringer, making it a versatile choice for encasing, shading, and adding dimensional contrast without the hard edge of an opaque black.
How it is used:
