Description:
This is a dark transparent violet Effetre Moretti soft-glass rod supplied in standard lampworking rod form. It is used in soft-glass flameworking and beadmaking when you want a deeper purple transparent for richer overlays, casing, and layered color work that still allows underlying structure and detail to remain visible. Dark transparent violets are especially useful when you need stronger color saturation in fewer layers, or when you want to create depth and shadowing effects without switching to an opaque. The rod format is intended for gradual warming, smooth heating to a workable state, and then application as wraps, dots, gathers, or pulled down into stringer for fine decorative linework.
How it is used:
