How it is used:
- Warm the rod gradually in the outer flame to reduce the chance of thermal shock, then move into the working flame to begin melting.
- Wind molten glass onto a prepared mandrel to build bead shapes, then marver and shape as needed.
- Use small gathers to add dots, scrolls, and raised decoration on bead surfaces.
- Pull the molten glass into stringer for fine linework and controlled detailing.
- Layer with other compatible soft glass colors to create shading, striping, and pattern work.
