How it is used:
- Warm the millefiori cane slowly at the edge of the flame to reduce thermal shock.
- Use nippers or a mosaic cutter to take thin slices from the cane.
- Preheat the slices on a kiln marver, warming plate, or the back of the flame so they are less likely to crack on contact.
- Tack a slice onto a warm bead or component, then gently reheat until it fully bonds to the surface.
