Moretti White & Blue Line Reticello is a pre-made reticello cane in soft glass, built from layered white and blue line work that’s been twisted and encased to create a consistent net-like pattern through the length of the cane. This style of cane is used when you want crisp, repeatable reticello patterning without having to pull and twist your own line-work bundles at the torch. It’s especially useful for clean decorative bands, overlays, and detailed accents where symmetry and tight line spacing matter.
How it is used:
- Warm the reticello cane gradually in the back of the flame to reduce thermal shock, then bring it up to working temperature.
- Use it as an applied stringer or cane to wrap decorative lines around a bead or small vessel form.
- Melt in smoothly to preserve the net pattern, then lightly marver and shape as needed.
