Construction

This is a small mandrel designed specifically for forming small vessels. It is a single-piece mandrel intended to be used as a forming core while you build glass around it.

Use in Lampworking

A vessel mandrel is used when you want a controlled internal form while building a small hollow piece. You work the glass around the mandrel to establish a consistent opening and interior shape, which helps keep small vessels uniform and repeatable.
