The Knight Dragon Fire - #3 Center is a 2-inlet bench torch built by Knight Burner with a premix center fire. The center fire is non-piloted and drilled with a .062 hole for a focused, high-velocity flame. Surrounding the center fire are two rows of outer tubes that provide additional flame coverage, giving you a torch configuration that can be run as a tight center flame for detail work or opened up for broader heating when you need to move more heat across a larger area in the flame.
This style of torch is used in lampworking when you want strong heat density and control for borosilicate work, larger gathers, thicker wall tubing, and heavier sculptural sections, while still being able to keep a defined working zone for precision seals and assembly.
How it is used:
- Mount the torch securely to a bench and connect it to two gas sources as required by your studio setup.
