Description:

This stainless steel hose clamp is a worm drive style clamp designed to tighten down around small diameter hose. It is commonly used on fuel gas and oxygen hose connections in lampworking to help secure the hose to a barb fitting or torch inlet connection where a snug, reliable seal is needed. Stainless steel construction helps resist corrosion in a shop environment and holds up well to repeated tightening and loosening during torch setup and maintenance.

How it is used:

  • Slide the clamp over the hose before pushing the hose onto the barb fitting
  • Seat the hose fully on the barb so it covers the ridges evenly
  • Position the clamp over the barb area and tighten the screw until the hose is firmly secured
  • Inspect the connection for movement and leaks before lighting the torch
