Roomy hand holes on each side provide ample room for free cutting movement. Construction

This trim saw hood is made from clear Plexiglas and is shaped to fit inside the table edge of compatible Covington trim saws. It sets into place without drilling mounting holes. The hood includes roomy hand holes on each side to allow cutting movement while keeping the work area enclosed.

Use in Lampworking

This is a lapidary accessory, but it is commonly used in lampworking shops that also coldwork glass. It is used over a trim saw to help contain water splash and reduce misting while you trim and section glass, especially when cutting stock down to workable lengths prior to grinding and polishing.
