Why and when it’s used in lampworking
Aligned straight tweezers are used when you need precise control over small hot or cold components without twisting the work. In lampworking they are commonly used to pinch and shape small gathers, pull and place stringer ends, position small decorative elements, and make fine adjustments while the glass is still workable. The straight, aligned tips are especially helpful for detail work where you want clean contact on both sides of the glass and predictable pressure.
