Description:
The 6" SuperThin Resin Diamond Blade is a resin-bond diamond cutting disc made for thin-kerf, precision cutting. A resin bond holds the diamond abrasive in a smoother-cutting matrix, which is commonly chosen when you want a cleaner finish and a more controlled, less aggressive feel at the cut. This blade is built with a 5/8" arbor and a super thin 0.5 mm thickness to help reduce material loss and support accurate trimming work.
How it is used:
This blade is mounted on compatible lapidary saws or trim saws that accept a 6" blade with a 5/8" arbor. In a glass shop, it is used during coldworking to section material before moving on to grinding and polishing steps. The super thin profile is particularly useful when you are making tight, accurate cuts, trimming small parts, or trying to preserve as much usable glass as possible from a blank.
