Description:

The 7/16" Vessel Mandrel is a steel mandrel designed for forming small vessels in lampworking. It provides a consistent diameter working surface so you can build, shape, and control the interior opening while keeping the piece stable on the bench and in the flame. Sold individually.

How it is used:

This mandrel is used as a forming support when making small vessel-style work. Apply bead release as appropriate, build glass onto the mandrel, and use it to maintain a consistent opening while shaping and finishing the vessel.
