The 7/8"-1" Bead & Marble Mold is a first grade graphite forming mold with two round hollows, one sized for 7/8" and one sized for 1". The graphite construction gives you a smooth, heat-tolerant surface that lets hot glass glide while you round and true up beads or marbles. It is available for purchase as a single tool, or with 3 piece wholesale pricing.

How it is used:

This mold is used in lampworking to shape hot gathers into consistent spheres. After you form a rough round in the flame, you place the glass into the appropriate hollow and rotate smoothly to bring the bead or marble into a uniform, centered shape while maintaining control of heat and symmetry.
