Description:
The Horizontal Wet Belt Sander is a commercial, production-oriented wet grinding machine built around a 1/2 hp motor mounted on a rustproof, aluminum-topped Lam-I-Cushion base. It uses a supported back plate to create a stable, flat grinding platform and runs 3" x 41-1/2" sanding belts to provide a long belt path for increased grinding surface area and extended belt life. This 220V model ships with the motor attached, ready to plug in and operate.

In glass coldworking and shop production, a horizontal wet belt sander is used to grind and true long, flat surfaces while keeping the work cool and controlling airborne dust through wet operation.
