Each stencil sheet uses a water based adhesive that is intended to make removal simple by soaking in water until the stencil begins to release. The stencils come with an instructional sheet. How it is used:
These stencils are used in glass sandblasting and surface decoration when you want clean, repeatable imagery without hand-cutting masks. In practice, you apply the vinyl stencil to clean, dry glass, burnish it down so the edges seal, then blast to the depth and frosting level you want. After blasting, you soak the piece in water to help the water based adhesive release, peel the stencil away, and clean the surface.
