Asian 12mm Cobalt Blue Tubing is heavily saturated transparent cobalt blue glass tubing made in China and supplied in 4 ft lengths. This is true tubing stock, meaning it is manufactured with a hollow center and consistent outside diameter, giving you a clean starting point when you need colored blow tube, sleeving material, or a fast path to hollow forms without drilling. The cobalt blue is a classic, intense transparent color that reads deep and rich, making it a strong choice when you want bold color while still keeping the depth and “window” quality that transparent glass can give.
This tubing is used anywhere you want a hollow colored starting form. In lampworking, it is commonly used for blowing small vessels and ornaments, building and stretching hollow sections, and for sleeving over compatible clear or color tubing to create layered color effects. It is also useful for making colored sections in scientific-style assemblies where a consistent tube form is needed before further shaping, joining, or sealing.
