Asian 12mm Light Jade Green Tubing is color borosilicate tubing made in China and supplied in straight 4 foot lengths. The Light Green Jade color is described as almost the exact same color as the Asian Mint rod, giving you a soft, fresh green that reads clean and even across hollow forms. Color tubing like this is selected when you want uniform wall-to-wall color from the start, saving time versus building a hollow from rod and helping keep the color consistent through the entire piece.
This tubing is used as a starting blank for borosilicate lampworking when you want a light jade green body color in hollow work. It is typically cut into shorter sections, then heated and shaped for blown components, sleeves, and formed hollow parts where even color distribution and repeatability matter. The 12mm size is a practical choice for small-to-medium hollow work because it heats relatively evenly and gives good control when opening, flaring, and shaping.
