Asian 12mm Red-21 Tubing

Asian 12mm Red-21 Tubing is saturated red borosilicate color tubing made in China. It is manufactured as hollow tubing, which makes it ideal when you need strong color in forms that are blown, sleeved, or otherwise worked as hollow components rather than solid rod. This tubing is sold by the piece.
This tubing is used in lampworking for hollow construction where you want a saturated red color in the wall of the glass. It can be heated and shaped into blown sections, small vessels, and other hollow parts, and it is also commonly used for sleeving over compatible clear tubing to build a colored outer layer before shaping, stretching, or pulling down into smaller diameter tubing for detail work. Because it is tubing, it is especially useful anywhere an interior bore is part of the build, such as blowouts and hollow assemblies that will later be sealed, joined, or necked down.
